Skills – muscular movements develop coordination
and balance, preventing falling and many types of injury,
learned the quickest and earliest in life through dance. |
| Everyday Activities – chores, other
sports and exercise require flexibility, stamina, coordination
and balance. Dance teaches these skills in a fun and expressive
way resulting in personal fitness, self-confidence and well-being. |
| Social Skills – such as waiting in line,
being courteous and patient, not speaking out of turn, working
in small groups and making friends are required in dance. |
