Rachel Porter
began dance at the age of four in Sandra’s School of Dance.
Through Junior High and High School she was an assistant teacher
for Sandra, along with being a Ping Ping (Sapulpa High School Dance
Team) member and Captain her senior year. When she graduated from
Sapulpa High School she was selected to be a Kilgore College Rangerette.
As a Rangerette she performed in the 2000 Presidential Inaugural
Parade and Black Tie and Boots Inaugural Ball, pre-game and half-time
shows for the Cotton Bowl, several Dallas Cowboy games, and countless
other performances. After Kilgore, she graduated from the University
of Oklahoma with public relations and worked in
a prestigious P.R. Firm in Oklahoma City prior to starting Ovations
Dance Studio.
Rachel and her husband Josh now own and operate Ovations Dance
Studio. Rachel is also the Dance Team director for
the Sapulpa High School Dance Team, the Ping Pings. |
